Regaining Your Security Code On Nokia Phones
1. Install Nokia PC Suite and Install Nemesis Service Suite, which is
called "NSS".
2. Connect your phone to your PC via the USB cable. If the phone
prompts, choose PC Suite mode.
3. Open Nemesis Service Suite (NSS) and click "Scan for new
devices".
4. Click "Phone Info".
5. Click "Scan".
6. Click "Permanent Memory" tab.
7. Click "Read".
8. It will read the permanent memory file and save it on the
disk at following path.
"C:\Program Files\NSS\Backup\pm\.pm"
9. Open the ".pm" file using Notepad.
10. Now scroll until field [308], and on the 5th Record (5=) your
security code is saved there. E.g. 5= 08000 or 5=08524.
12. You can change it, 12345 is your nokia security code.
Resetting Your Security Code On Nokia Phones
1. Connect your phone to your PC via the USB cable. If the phone
prompts, choose PC Suite mode.
2. Open Nemesis Service suite (NSS).
3. Click "scan for new devices".
4. Click "Phone Info".
5. Click "Scan".
6. Under "Power Mode", click "Local" then "Change". Your phone should
restart and you should see the text Local mode across your phone
screen.
7. Under "Production Data Edit", click "Read". The textboxes should
now contain values.
8. Check the "Enable" check box beside "Product Code".
10. Click "Write".
11. Select "Tools".
12. Click "Factory Settings" tab
13. Tick "Full Factory" and click "Reset".
14. Go back to the "Phone Info" and click "Normal" then "Change".
15. Your security code should be "12345".
