Johnny Depp and Amber Rose Secret Engagement Exposed as she Reveals Ring

When Amber Heard revealed a huge diamond on her ring finger, it fueled speculation of an engagement between her and Johnny Depp.

And now it has been revealed that the two ARE secretly engaged – and have been for ‘a while’.

‘The proposal happened a while ago,’ a source told US Weekly.

‘She just didn’t wear the ring.’

However reports are conflicting.

While a spokesperson for the couple did not respond to a request for comment, sources have claimed the ring is simply a promise ring.

Just Jared reported that: ‘The ring is a promise ring Johnny gave Amber as a gift over the holidays.’The famously private couple do little to flaunt their relationship.

But as she left West Hollywood’s Ago Restaurant on Tuesday night, Amber revealed her beautiful ring – a large single emerald or princess cut stone in an elaborate platinum setting.

Having fleetingly attempted to cover the ring, the 27-year-old revealed it to the world as she pushed her hair out her eyes.

The ring, which is yet to be sized correctly and thus had slipped around to the side slightly, was gleaming in the light.

The Rum Diary star was enjoying a night out with a female friend following a weekend full of glam soirées as awards season officially kicks into high gear.

The leggy brunette was dressed stylishly for the outing, in black skinny pants, matching ankle boots, a daring moss green shirt that featured sheer panels exposing her toned midriff and a black blazer.

She kept her make-up minimal and fresh and her long locks tied back in a loose ponytail, while she carried a black leather designer handbag on a long strap over one shoulder.

Amber and her much older beau began dating soon after Depp announced his split from long-time love and the mother of his two children, 41-year-old actress and singer Vanessa Paradis, in June 2012.

The former couple of 14 years remain devoted co-parents to daughter Lily-Rose,14, and son Jack, 11, who live with their mother.

Depp, 50, and Heard met on the set of 2010′s The Rum Diaries and despite the stunning star joining her man on the promotional tour for movie The Lone Ranger last year, this past weekend heralded their first official appearance as a couple.
