On Sunday morning, Wiz Khalifa was arrested for possession of marijuana while attempting to fly from El Paso to Dallas, Texas.

According to TMZ reports, he was turned over to the local police by the Transportation Security Administration, after a “green leafy substance” was found with him – we all know what the “green leafy substance” must be especially when found with someone like Khalifa.

But rather than stressing about the outcome, the rapper shared a ‘jail selfie’ followed by a minute-to-minute commentary of his experience behind bars in Dallas,Texas.

The rapper, who is normally very active on Twitter, went silent for a number of hours on Saturday evening before re-emergence on the social networking site with the ‘jail selfie’.

He accompanied the photo with the caption ‘Free Trap Wiz,’ which has quickly landed itself hashtag status thanks to his devoted fans objecting to their idol being locked up.

It’s not the first time Khalifa – who is married to Amber Rose – has been in trouble with the law on account of his very public love for marijuana, as he was also arrested for possession in the middle of his Waken Ball tour in November of 2010.
