Jay Z and Solange were today pictured together with other family members at courtyard restaurant Cafe Amelie in New Orleans.
Solange, Alan Ferguson and her 9-year old son joined her sister Beyonce, Jay Z and an entourage including her mother, Tina at the restaurant. They all look happy together.
The pics, taken over the weekend in New Orleans, were posted on Beyoncé's website, Beyonce.com, and present an image of family unity that's seemingly at odds with the nasty incident in the Standard Hotel elevator.
The photos were posted along with the just-released video for "Run," to promote Jay-Z's upcoming tour with Beyoncé.
Whoopi Goldberg is known for speaking her mind – and earlier this week on The View, the co-host shared her honest thoughts on the Solange and Jay Z fiasco.
In a clip from Tuesday's episode, Whoopi said Jay would have been within his rights to slug Solange back for hitting him.
“I think Solange was quite ready for him to do whatever he was going to do. This is the thing: If anybody hits you, you have the right – I know that many people are raised in a different way – but if a woman hits you, to me, you have the right to hit her back.”
When Barbara Walters asked Whoopi if it was OK for a man to hit a woman, Goldberg replied:
“If I slap a man, he has every right to slap me back. Every right.”

Beyoncé is letting the world know, she has nothing but love for her sister, Solange Knowles.
If you recall, a video surfaced online of Solange physically assaulting Jay Z.
Proving that all is well in the Knowles-Carter family, Queen Bey who was spotted court side with her boo a day after the video leaked, took to her official Instagram page to post multiple images of her and her sister.

What beef?! According to a new story on TMZ, Jay Z and sister-in-law Solange Knowles went looking for jewelry together Tuesday afternoon at a high-end NYC jewelry store, after their shocking elevator drama.
TMZ sources connected with the store say Jay and Solange were in Mr. Flawless, where they were looking for women's jewelry for around 20 minutes. The pair showed no signs of strife, and looked at gems with Mr. Flawless himself. They looked, but tried nothing on. And left the store without buying anything. Jay and Solange didn't talk much inside the store... they pretty much just browsed quietly.
The web that is being woven from a three and a half minute surveillance video of a fight has expanded even further. Hours after reports surfaced that Solange argued with Dame Dash’s ex-wife prior to fight with Jay Z, new developments surface.
According to sources with the The New York Daily News, tensions between Solange Knowles and Jay Z rose once Beyonce’s security, Julius was allegedly informed that Solange’s uninvited friends were attempting to use Jay Z’s name to enter the private Met Gala after party. Reportedly, Jay Z directly informed Solange to “not use my name.”
That comment did not sit well with Solange, however sources say the 27 year old songstress became livid when she learned Jay Z would be leaving to attend a Rihanna-hosted after party without Beyonce. Jay Z’s security was informed that he would not be needing extra security since Beyonce would not be attending the event with him, a revelation that a source said sent Solange into a verbal tantrum:
She seemed drunk and irritated. She said ‘Why can’t you go home?’ and to Beyonce ‘Why does your husband need to go to the club right now?’
Solange became physical after Jay Z responded to her comment by saying “you’re one to talk.” Jay Z was reported to have left the event in a separate car than Beyonce and Solange and did not attend the Rihanna-hosted after party.
