Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's May 24 wedding is around the corner, and the reality star kicked off the festivities with a bridal shower on Saturday.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians mainstay, 33, was joined by friends and family, including mom Kris Jenner and sisters Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. And the bride-to-be made a glamorous entrance as she arrived at the hotel, decked out, fittingly, in this white minidress with pearl straps as she rocked silver stilettos. A lot of people are still hating on her though.

These coveted invites are quite simple, printed on a thick grey card stock and feature simple gold type. The happy couple request the presence of their friends and family on: "Saturday, the twenty-fourth of May" in Paris.

The sleek mail-outs are a stark contrast from the invites to her wedding to Kris Humphries which came in a box and were bedazzled with hematite crystals.

But third time's a charm for Kim who will be heading down the aisle in front of an intimate group of one hundred family and friends in France.

Just this week, Kim cleared up rumours about her plans for a televised wedding. On Twitter the reality queen told fans,
"We are not filming our wedding for Keeping Up With The Kardashians. You will see everything leading up till and after!"

She’s says she follows the Atkins diet and is a regular at the gym, but Kim Kardashian’s Instagram photos have sparked debate over whether her physique is actually down to Photoshop.

The reality star posted a photograph of herself today on Instagram while showing off her Kardashian Kollection cropped turtleneck dress.

Instead of fans going crazy over her clothing range though, followers wrote next to the snap: ‘Photoshop’, and ‘Dude who even has that body shape, is it even real’.

JAY Z AGREES TO BE KANYE WEST'S BEST MAN ON ONE CONDITION

Jay Z has ventured into nearly every type of media, but there is still one medium he won’t step into: reality television. And according to a report on DailyStar, for that single reason he is refusing to be Kanye’s Best Man at his wedding.

Kanye West, 36, reportedly offered Jay Z, 44, the role of Best Man at his upcoming, hotly anticipated wedding. Initially Jay Z accepted but now says he would be Best Man under one condition: that he, his wife Beyonce, 32, and daughter Blue Ivy wouldn’t be caught on camera. That under no circumstance should the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality TV show film him, his wife Beyonce or daughter Blue Ivy during the ceremony.

In spite of recent claims by Kim Kardashian, 33, that she's hopeful her wedding to Kanye will remain small and intimate, the private affair will still more than likely be recorded for Kim’s reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, as she has done with most major milestones in her life.

‘Bosses at E! are desperate to get the nuptials on air, and will pay millions to make it happen” a close Kardashian friend divulged to Daily Star. ‘And the thought of popping up in Keeping Up With The Kardashians mortifies Beyoncé,’ the source elaborated.

‘She purposefully keeps herself away from trashy TV and isn’t prepared to lower her standards for anyone, or any occasion.’

Kim Kardashian has revealed she and fiancé, Kanye West are shunning the limelight for a small, intimate ceremony.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM show the day before yesterday (25 Feb), Kim admitted that they’re having a “super, super small intimate” wedding. Kim said:

“As we are going along, we realise we want it to be smaller and more intimate than people are imagining and thinking.”

As for when and where will the big day will be, she said:

“I’ll tell you it’s in Paris, but I’m not saying when, but it’s this year.”

Making fun of me pregnant & making fun of me trying to lose weight now shame on you. I’m not perfect but I will never conform to your skinny standards sorry! Not me. And BTW I’ve lost a lot so far & I’m proud of that! Don’t give young girls a complex!”
