Croatian Newspapers have Published Naked Photos of their World Cup Players Online (Photos)

After losing their opening match of the 2014 World Cup to Brazil, all that Croatia's players wanted to do was relax at their hotel pool in the nude. Sadly, the privacy of the pants-less pool party at their Praia do Forte base was compromised by two Croatian photographers, who hid in the bushes and took pictures that have now been published online.

And now, the players are refusing to talk to World Cup reporters. Their coach, Niko Kovac, who is currently very pissed off at the incident told reporters:

I can’t force them to be at your disposal after what you have done to them and their families. How would you feel if someone took naked pictures of you? They are adamant that they won’t speak to you lot any more and I don’t know whether the silence will end tomorrow or last until the end of our World Cup campaign. I respect my players’ opinion and I also know that you have done a very professional job so far but you blew it with this one. The whole world has seen the photos.”

Dora Akunyili To Be Buried August 28th

Former Minister of Information and Communications, Late Dora Akunyili who died on the 7th of June in an Indian Specialist Cancer hospital will be buried on the 28th of August her husband has said.

Mr Akunyili thanked Nigerians who stood by her during her 2-year battle with cancer, and those supporting them now after her demise.

Tech: Google set to unveil new tablet

Google is working on a new tablet that will go on sale shortly, and will be able to take 3D photos, The PUNCH learnt on Monday.

According to sources, a small run of just 4,000 devices is planned.

It was gathered that a prototype smartphone had been given out to 200 developers to try out, and the technology is said to make use of infrared sensors to measure depth of surroundings.

“Taking 3D images is however itself not anew technology, and any camera can do it, if the correct software is later used to combine two photos taking an inch or so to one side of each other,” a statement from Google read.

It also reads, “The key significance of the Google product though is that it is said to embed the 3D depth data into the image, which then lets other software manipulate it into 3D output. While that could be for photographs, it could also be for mapping and location aware services.

“In gaming such technologies, it could also be used in Augmented Reality services.”

A small note on a Google projects page suggests, “Project Tango is an attempt to create a mobile device unlike any other,” adding that it could be “a mobile device that shares our sense of space and movement, that understands and perceives the world the same way we do.”

According to the Wall Street Journal, the 3D tablet will be shown off at Google’s annual developers’ conference at the end of June.

Fast & Furious 7 Movie Update: Paul Walker Lookalike Brother Cody Walker Completes Filming Following Sibling's Death

Malibu beach goers were taken aback last week when they discovered Paul Walker's lookalike filming scenes for "Fast & Furious 7" movie.

In fact, Cody Walker, who stepped into his brother Paul Walker's character, Brain O'Conner, was seen hanging out with other famous members of the cast, including Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriquez and Ludacris, after he joined them to fill in for his late brother for the seventh installment of the franchise.

Because 25-year-old Cody sported the same haircut as his Hollywood star brother it was almost impossible to tell him apart from his sibling, according to eye-witnesses.

"Fast & Furious 7" is the latest movie of the car chase franchise which has grossed $2.38 billion worldwide. It was scheduled for release on July 11, 2014, but the production was stalled following the tragic demise of Paul Walker, who along with his friend Roger Rodas died when the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT they were traveling in crashed into a tree and burst into flames.

Consequently, Paul Walker's brothers Cody and Caleb Walker were incorporated into the cast for filming the remaining scenes of "Fast and Furious 7." At the time of his accident, Walker had completed filming most of his scenes.

Soon after the gruesome accident, Universal Studios shut down the movie to allow the cast time to mourn Paul's death. Later the studio decided to move forward and set a new release date, and it is now scheduled for April 10, 2015.

Another report in The Hollywood Reporter says, Universal Studios, which is using face-replacement technology as well as the brothers of the late Paul Walker to complete filming the movie, is in negotiations to receive a reimbursement as the production costs have soared past $250 million.

This is to inform all the newly admitted students of The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) that the school management has released the payment procedure for acceptance, main school fees and accommodation (Hostel) fees for the 2013/2014 session. Candidates who have been offered provisional admission into the Institution are to pay the required acceptance fee and other listed fees.

All newly admitted students of Obafemi Awolowo University are expected to make payments via the O.A.U PORTAL by clicking on “PAYMENT OF FEES” from student’s Home Page to download PAYMENT SLIP for each type of payments you want to make (i.e. separate PAYMENT SLIP for Acceptance, Main School Fees and Accommodation) (optional).

The University PORTAL will determine the type of payments available for you. For example, if you are granted a BED SPACE, Accommodation fee will automatically appear on your screen.

WARNING: Do not pay for accommodation until you have secured a BED SPACE on the NET as such payment will not be refunded.

You are to present two(2) copies of the printed PAYMENT SLIP to any branch of the Bank you select on the School PORTAL for payment. It is expected that Bank will collect a copy while you keep a copy for yourself after stamping by Bank.

“I Can Cure Dora Akunyili” – Guru Maharaji

The Spiritual Leader of One Love Family, Guru Maharaj Ji, has said that he has the power to cure the ailing former NAFDAC boss, Dora Akunyili of her medical problems.

Speaking with City People, he said “It is pretty sad that you all look down on me but I am telling you that I have the power to cure that woman (Dora Akunyili) of her medical problems. If they can bring her to me or allow me to see her, I would cure her of whatever is wrong with her and she would be okay.”

The former Minister of Information, Professor Dora Akunyili is currently hospitalised in the United States.

Although rumours of her failing health broke out early this year, her condition reportedly grew worse lately, which led to her being flown out of the country.
